In this 2 hour presentation that was originally recorded with Verge Permaculture I introduce the principles and processes I use on our farm to grow nutrient dense food that is regenerating the planet and how you can do the same in your back yard or the back forty.

Topics covered will include:

  • How to identify and direct the energies and abilities of wild and domesticated animals
  • Improving your quality of life and that of your animals
  • Specific examples of techniques Takota has developed on his family’s 250 acre farm and how they might work for your context
  • Case study of Coen Farm’s integrated livestock system which includes: grass fed beef and dairy cattle,  milk fed Berkshire porkheritage chickens, Muskovy ducks, vegetable gardens, forest gardens, cover crops, grain, and compost production.
  • Humanities larger role as a keystone species on this planet
